Kaleb Winsheimer started Great West Fire, Inc. in 2010 when he saw an opportunity to create a manufacturers rep company that functioned differently than all of the other rep groups in the industry. Kaleb has been working in the safety industry since the year 2000 when he left his corporate job to become a regional manager with a safety company manufacturer that made everything from industrial respiratory protection to thermal imaging for the Fire Service. He immediately developed a passion for innovative lifesaving equipment.
His corporate roots helped him understand the need for solutions-based selling that has serviced his customers well for over two decades in the safety industry. Kaleb believes in a simple strategy of being honest with the customer even when it presents the most difficult path. The customers Kaleb works with understand and appreciate that even the most difficult news can be followed by the most effective solutions.
Kaleb and his wife Amy are blessed with four beautiful daughters. His favorite moments in life can be as simple as a movie night with the girls and our best friends, Hazel the English Bulldog, Jack the French Bulldog, and Rudy the Cat.
Lastly, Kaleb has been in a long-term relationship with the game of Golf. As of today, they have entered into an intensive counseling program to see if the relationship can be salvaged.
Scott MacKenzie “Mac” has been involved in the fire service for over 27 years. His education in PPE started off in 1993 with Lion Apparel as their Southwest Regional Sale Manager for over ten years. LN Curtis & sons recruited him in 2003 to jump start their PPE program where he became their Director of PPE Sales and Marketing. He was instrumental in developing the Globe G-Xtreme turnout which relaunched life back into Globe Fire Suits. He and his team broke new ground by developing NFPA 1851 classes for fire departments from 13 western states who wanted to be educated on 1851 and the importance of cleaning, care and maintenance for PPE. After leaving LN Curtis, Mac started his consulting business where he worked closely with various rep groups and fire departments; writing specifications and assisted in implementing NFPA 1851 programs and classes. In 2014, he was brought onboard by Stedfast Advance Barrier Technologies to be their Western Regional Territory Manager covering the 25 western states. In November of 2019, Mac became Managing Partner with Kaleb Winsheimer of Great West Fire. Over the years, Kaleb and Mac have worked together and share the same drive and passion for educating the fire service on Personal Protective Equipment.
